Contra indicates: Severe leucopenia or thrombo
Special Precautions: Use colonic acid rescue has permitted much higher doses oi methotrexa e. Hepaticand renal dysfunction. C.N.S. disturbance. Bone marrow depression Pediatrics: Use only in cancer treatment. Pregnancy: Contraindicated due to its teratogenic effects. Lactation: Should not be used. FMerty: Use with caution.
Side-effects: Megaioblastic anemia, pancytope-nia, Desquamation and bleeding may occur n G.I.T.
Drug Interaction: Salicylates, sulphonamides, phenyioin, henylbutazone, tetracyclines, chloram-phenicol and para-aminobenzoic acid increase toxicity. Aspargmase reduces toxicity.
