DACARBAZINE:
Hodgkin's disease Soft tissue sarcomas.
Dosage: Malignant melanoma: 2-4.5 mg/kg/day for 10 days. Hodgkin's disease: 150 mg/sq m/day for 5 days. Treatment may be repeated after 4 weeks.
Contraindications: Pregnancy, lactation, marrow suppression, hypersensitivity
Restrict food intake 4-6 hours prior to therapy, Caution in handling-irritant to skin & tissues Renal & hepatic impairment.

Side effects: Bone marrow suppression, hepaitc impairment, flu-like syndrome, facial flushing, rash, CMS disturbances, blurred vision, paresthesia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, alopecia, Budd-chiari syndrom
Drug Interactions: Dacarbazin may impair immunological response to the vaccine of a generalised vaccinia. It for hydrocortisgr may impair immue with development s a precipitate with ARZl(Dacarbazine)
