FEXOFENADINE: Fexofenadine is a specific (lacks ant cholinergic, dopaminergic or alpha-adrenergic activity). Selective (has no central actions) and competitive histamine H1 receptor antagonist, with twice the affinity for H1 receptor than turpentine. It blocks both early and late stages of allergy effectively.
Indications :Allergic rhinitis and Allergic skin conditions.
Dosage : Allergic Rhinitis -120 mg once daily.
Allergic skin conditions -180 mg once daily.
Contraindications : Hypersensitivity.
Sopecial Precautions : No special precaution in the elderly, rnally impaired or hepatically impaired patients.
Paediatrics : Effecacy and safety not established in children under 12 year of age.
Pregnancy :Used only if the potential benefits out-weight the potential risk to the foetus.
Lactations : Not recommende
