AZELASTINE HYDROCHLORIDE: Asselstine is potent selective histamine-h1- receptor blocker. Besides its selective histamine-H1 antagonizing effect, Asselstine inhibits the triggering of pathological reactions provoked leukotrines, caluimlons and PAF.
Indications : Symptomatic treatment of both seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Dosage : One puff (0.14mg) into nostirl twice daily
Contraindications : Hypersensesitivity to azleastine hydrochloride, bazalkonium chloride.
Side-effects : Irritaton of nasal mucosa,taste disturbance nose bleeding.
Special Precautions : Paediatrics : Not recommende. Under 6 year of age.
Pregnancy : Not Recommended.
Lactation : Not Recommended.
