CLEMASTINE FUMARATE: Antiallergic and antipruitic agent.
Indications : Hay fever and other allergic rhinopathis; urinary, prorates, itching demitasses as adjuvant in acute and chronic eczema, contact dermatitis, drug eruptions, insect stings and bites
Dosage : Adults and children over 12 years: 1mg morning nod evening; in refectory cases unto 6mg per day. Children: 1 to 3 years: 0.25-05mg, 3 to 6 year: 0.5mg 6 to 12 year: 0.5mg.-mg before breakfast and at bedtime.
Contraindication : Hypersensitivity children under 1 year of age, narrow-angle glaucoma pyloroduodenal obstruction steno sing peptic ulcer prostates hypertrophy with urinary retention or bladder neck obstruction pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precaution : Glaucoma, tasks requiring mental alertness, sedatives, tranquilizers, chronic hepatic/renal dysfunction.
Paediatrics : Not recommende under 1 yar.
Pregnancy : Use with caution.
Lactation : Should not be used
Elderly : Redued dose should be given.
Side effects : Fatigue, sedation, occasionally. CNS stimulation, particularly in children dry mouth headache, dizziness, skin, rash, maize, gastra; goa, pesto atop
Drug Interactions : Sedatives hypnotics MAo inhibitors, alcohol.
