It is highly strong, long acting selective B2 receptor stimulant.
INDICATIONS: Bronchospasm, nocturnal astma, bronchial asthma during exercise, orciprenaline, isoprenaline, salmeterol, fromoterol, isoetherine, rimiterol, fenoterol, reproterol, tulobuterol, pirbuterol. These agents act mainly on smooth muscles of bronchi, GIT, uterus etc and leads to relaxation of these muscles.
Chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity.
DOSE: 50-100 mcg BD by inhalation.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: Headache, nervousness, allergic reactions.
