It is a long-acting specific, Muscarinic receptor antagonist.
INDICATIONS: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
DOSAGE: Inhalation of the contents of one rotacap once daily.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Should not be used for the initial treatment of acute episodes of bronchospasm, i.e. rescue therapy. Narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia or bladder-neck obstruction. Should not be used in pregnant or nursing women.
SIDE-EFFECTS: Dry mouth, dry throat, increased heart rate, blurred vision, glaucoma, urinary difficulty, urinary retention, and constipation.
