When you have selected your item you can see your shopping cart items, quantity and total. You can change the quantity by entering the number of quantity you want. Then press 'Update' to change the quantity required.

It is a first generation sulfonylura compound with slower onset of action with biological half-life of 36 hours.

INDICATIONS: Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (type II, maturity onset type) which is not controlled by diet alone. It has also been used in diabetes insipidus.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hepatic and renal impairment, infection, pregnancy & lactation.

SAFETY PROFILE: Dilsulfiram like reaction alcohol, C.H.F. ischaemic vascular disease.

ADVERSE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, discomfort, weakness paraesthesia and hypersensitivity reactions like fever, rash, and jaundice.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Hypoglycaemic effect is potentiated with concurrent administration of salicylates, phenylbutazone, propranolol, chloramphenicol and alcohol.

DOSAGE: 1.0 gm single daily dose before breakfast or the first substantial meal. If more then 1 gm is needed, remaining can be taken before evening meal. Max. dose 0.5-2gms.
