DICLOFENAC SODIUM:It is one of a series of phenyl acetic acids that have demonstrated anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
It can also be use in conjunction with other ophthalmic medications such as antibiotics, beta blockers, and carbonic anhydrate cyclplegics and mediates.
Indications : Inhibition of introspective mitosis and postoperative inflammation in cataract surgery.
Dosage :Pre-operatively: One drop 4 times at 30 ministerial during the 2 hrs period prior to surgery. Post-operatively: One drop 4 times daily up to 2 weeks pr as directed by the physician.
Contra indications : Soft intact lenses, aspirin/ anti-inflammatory drug-induced allergy, surgical procedures.
Special Precautions :Pregnancy, nursing mother, not recommended for children.
Side effects : Braining, stinging delayed healing GI upset, braining sensation, blurred vision, hypersensitivity, photosensitivity. & dermatitis punctuate.
