OLOPATADINE: It is a relatively selective histamine H1-receptor antagonist and inhibits the relase of histamine form mast cells. It shares many of the phrmacologic effect of mast cell stabilisers.
Indications : Treatment of the sings and symptoms of allerigc conjunctivitis.
Dosage : One drop in each eye twice a day.
Contra indications : Hypersensitivity
Special precaution : Remove contact lenses prior to admin. Reinsert soft contact leses 10min after admin. Pregnacny, lactation.
Side effects : Headache, asthnia,cold syndrome, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinsuitis, dysgeuisa, ocular buring or stinging, dry eye foregin body sensation hyperaemia, keratitis, ild oedema, ocular pruitus, blurred vision.
