Contraindications: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary
Disease E.G. Bronchial Asthma, Partial Or Complete Heart Block,
C.H.F. Bradycardia.
Safety Profile: Delayed Recovery Of Hypoglycaemia
Due To Nsulin & Oral Hypoglycaemics, Impaired Renal And Hepatic
Functions, Myocardial Insufficiency.
Adverse Effects: C.H.F. Nightmares, Worsening,
Of Varinat Angina, Lipid Unfriendly Of Prolonged Administration,
Cold Hands & Feet.
Drug Interactions: Additive Depression Of S.A.
And A.V. Node With Digoxin And Verapamil. Indomethacin And Other
Nsaids Reduce The Antihypertensive Effect, Phenylepherine, Ephedrine
And Alfa Receptor Agoinst Present In Cold Remedies Can Cause Rise
Of Blood Pressure.
Dosage: 10 Mg B.D. To 160 Mg Q.U.D.
