Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin is a significant hormone that the bodybuilders crave. It is important for functionality in the male body. Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin has the capability to imitate the function of lutenizing hormone in the body. LH is a pituitary hormone. It is produced in the testicles. Normally, the recommended duration of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin is 8 weeks or so. But some beginners opt for shorter cycles initially. Technical detail:

It is a hormonal susbtance obtained from human pregnancy urine. In the female, its action is predominantly luteinizing. In the male, its actione perdominantly steriodogenic and can also intate and maintain spermatogenesis.

Indications: In female: Anovulatory infertility superovulation for an assisted conception-technique. Corpus luteum insufficiency. Habitual abortion. Threatened abortion In male : Hypogonadotrphic hypogonadism. Cryptorchidism. Oligoasthenospermia and azoospermia.

Dosage: Anovulatory infertility & superovulation : 10,000 i.u. Corpus luteum insufficiency : 5,000 i.u. i.m. on 5th day after ovulation repeated on 9th day. Habitual & threatend abortion : 10,000 i.u. followed by 5,000 i.u. twice weekly.

Male : Hypogonadtrophic phpogonadism : 2,000 i.u. twice weekly. Cryptochidism : 500-1,000 i.u. on alternate days. Oligo-asthensopermia & azoospermia. 500 i.u. every day dor 2,500 i.u. every 5 days.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity. Pituitary or ovarian tumour, prostatic carcinoma or androgne dependent neoplasm, Endocrine disorders. Ovarian dys-genesis,absent uterus, permature menopuse, tubal occlussion, Active thromophlebitis. Weight reduction

Special Precautions: Ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome. Incidence of multiple pregnancies & births is increased. False result of pregnancy test, breast feeding in males may cause fluid retention (caution in patients with cardiac, renal disease, epilepsy, migraine or ssthma). Sexual precocity
