It is an aminopencillins which is active against many strains of enterobacteiaceae. It is better absorbed from the GIT than ampicillin.
Indicaition: Acute cervical adenitis, acute otitis media, acute sinusitis and acute bronchitis. Pneumonia in adult & children above 5 years, mild pneumonia in children aged from 2 months to 5 years neonatal pneumona together with gentamycin .
