Augmentin Changing product quantity in your shopping cart
When you have selected your item you can see your shopping cart items, quantity and total. You can change the quantity by entering the number of quantity you want. Then press 'Update' to change the quantity required.

The two components of this combination product operate synergistically because clavulanic acid binds to ß lactase and there by competitively protects the amoxicillin against resistant ß lactamase producing strains. Both components are well absorbed after oral administration and are distributed into the lungs. They are largely excreted unchanged in the urine.

INDICATIONS: Infections caused by susceptible ß lactamase producing strains of E-Coli, H.influenza, Klebsilla spp. And Strepococcus aureus. Acute otitis media, acute sinusitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis in adults.

DOSAGE: Pneumonia amoxicillin 500 mg + 125 mg of clavulanic acid orally every 8 hours.

Other infections : 250 mg amoxicillin + 125 mg clavulanic t.i.d. for 7 days.
