It is indol derivative, an potent antiinfammatory drug similar to phenylbutazone. It is an inflammatory on tissue injury related pain. It suppresses neutrophil motility. And also uncoupies oxidative phosphorylation. Its plasma half life 2-5 hours.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Psychiatric patients, epileptics, kidney disease.
ADVERSE EFFECTS : Frontal headache, hacllucinations, depression, psychosis, leucopenia.
DOSAGE: 25 mg bid/tid.75 mg SR 75 mg OD.
