When you have selected your item you can see your shopping cart items, quantity and total. You can change the quantity by entering the number of quantity you want. Then press 'Update' to change the quantity required.

Mianserin

It does not inhibit NA or 5HT uptake in CNS. It exerts potent presynaptic control a 2 adrenergic blocking activity which may cause increased noradrenaline release from neurons in brain.

Indications: Psychotic & neurotic depression, obsessive compulsive neurosis and phobic states.

Contradictions: Hepatic and cardiovascular damage mania.

Safety Profile: Ischaemic heart disease. Liver insufficiency. Diabetes, renal and hepatic impairment. Prostate hypertrophy, driving and operating machinery. Narrow angle glaucoma, jaundice.

Adverse Effects: Hypersensitivity reaction, nausea, jaundice, drowsiness may precipitate seizures, blood dyscrasias, lethargy, tremors, impaired alertness, rashes.

Drug Interactions: CNS depressants effects enhanced by alcohol, sedatives, and hypnotics, blood level decreased by phenobarbitone, carbamazepine, and phenytoin anti spileptics: Antagonism (convulsive threshold lowered) reduced anti-depressants effect (reduced plasma – mainserin concentration)

Dosage: 30-60mg in divided or single dose at bed time.
