It is the fourth generation halogen free topical steroid.
INDICATIONS: Relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses e.g. atopic dermatitis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, certain types of psoriasis and intertrigo.
DOSAGE: Apply on affected skin areas in a thin layer, once daily. If necessary may be increased to twice daily. Usage should not exceed 4 weeks.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Avoid use in infants and application must be limited to minimum dose. Contact of prednicarbate with conjunctival sac over a course of time can result in increased intraocular pressure.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Contraindicated.
SIDE-EFFECTS: Burning sensation, itching, folliculitis or allergic skin reactions like burning, reddening or weeping may occur.
