VECURONIUM BROMIDE:
Indications: Adjunct ot general anesthesia to facilitate endortracheal intubation and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation druing surgery or mechanical ventilation
Dosage :
Adults : 80-100mcg/kg IV Maintence 20-30mg/kg according to response and need Neonates & infants (Up to 4 months) initially 10-20 mcg/kg incremental doses to achieve response
Child (over 4 months): Same as adult dose Alterna tively IV infusion 50-80 mcg.kg (after initial IV inj of 40-100 mcg/kg) may be adopted
