INFLUENZA VIRUS VACCINE
This vaccine is indicated for prevention against influenza virus, specially in people whom influenza may give rise to complications. These include persons suffering from chronic cardiac or bronchopulmonary disease; immunocomprornised individuals; individu¬als with diabeted, chronic renal insufficiency, suf¬fering from sickle cell anaemia.
Dosage : Children 6 months to 3 years of age : 1 inj of 0.25ml; Children 3 years & all ages : 1 inj of 0.5
Children under 8 years of age who have not been infected or vaccinated previously should be given a second dose after an interval of atleast 4 weeks.
