ECONAZOLE: It is similar to clotrimazole, effecdtively penetreate superficial layers of the skin.
Indications : Vulvovaginal condiasis, trichomonas vaginits,
Dosage : Inter 1 tab (150mg) into the vagina at bedtime for 3 consecutive days.
Contraindications : Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions : Supend theraduring mansrual cycle. Male partner to be treated concurrentily
Paediatrics : No special problem.
Prehnancy : No evidence or risk to the developing baby.
Lactation : Not evieence of risk.
Side effects : Local irritation or burning. Hypersensitivity.
Drug Interactions : Antagonism with poly ene antiboitics.
