Should Be Managed Either By Restartiing Cloniding Or With Other Antihypertensive Agents Like And $ Blokers, Pregnancy, Lactation, Hepatic And Renal Insufficiency Constitute Other Situations Where Clonidine Should Be Used Cautiously. Skikked Jobs Should Be Avoided.

Adverse Effects: Sedation, Dry Mouth, Dizziness, Sleep Disturbances, Impotence And Allergic Manifestations.

Drug Interactions: Hypertensive Action Is Potentiated By Rricyclic Antidepressants, Diuretics And Vasodilators. Cns Depressants May Cause Excessive Drowsiness. Centrally Acting Alpha Adrenergic Blockers Antagonise Action Of Clonidine.

Dosage: 0.05-0.1 Mg Three Times A Day, Increase Gradually Every Third Day.
